BOYGIRLXPROVERBS. What a blessing it is to be talked about in good words?...While grazing through a wide set of blogs. I stumbled upon BOYGIRL, a  fashion and style blog, and saw that my recent look was featured. I was ecstatic. I immediately found a translator to see what was actually being said about myself. Fortunately, come to find I was being praised for my style. The beauty of this moment is forever anointing for God has given praise for my good deeds. As I have brought His word into the cut-throat world of Fashion. I consider this one of many blessings to come. I have posted as well the original writing and translated version of the post below:

ORIGINAL:

SPECIAL SWEATER IS ALWAYS ESSENTIAL

TRANSLATED:

SPECIAL SWEATER IS ALWAYS ESSENTIAL
---Much to the sweater can be worn alone, must be! The fall of the value of orders to wear, took off his jacket is still murderous full indoors in winter, early spring actually can also then continue to be worn alone, this wild single product, I do not allow the closet to the lack of it. Although the brush color for STEVE boy jeans I'm not crazy about, but on the whole outfit a kind of mold focused, the overall blue substrate to catch the last head Distressed boots, the effect is pretty good, imagine a solid color jeans, I almost give his eightieth. Meaningful single product: sweater

Flame The Gift

A few weeks ago, Rebecca (Best Friend) and I decided to go to Union Square due to the amazing weather. However, as we were sitting in the ends of Union Square. We saw a bundle of StreetStyle, Musicians, and many other creative encores. Besides that, I learned that day there is times where you must  enjoy the present and spend time with the ones you love. In Proverbs 17:17 it says "A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need". I'm learning to visualize how much true means to me and others that encompass me. I thought when I arrived to New York. I would never find a friend that will accept me for all that comes with me. Well, I was proven wrong. Rebecca and I are growing to be an ultimate "duo" as I say call it. Even though, we have our days and own issues. We always find our way back to each other. With all things, I do need to realize I must keep faith in our friendship because any unlawful decision can stumble upon. This will test my will and loyalty to mend what ever issue there may be together. Hopefully, we will not come to that road of separation. Proverbs 20: 6 also says "Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is truly reliable." I know every individual has this issue or thinking when it comes to friendships, or relationships in general. In any way, we all must know and understand. We come across at least one or two "truly reliable" friends, however, we may not notice until God places visionary proof of thought in your mind; declaring the person fate in your life. I realize the road of friendship is only increasing for the better. I have to keep faith, or else I will be living in mere deception. Before, I conclude. I need for all of you to think about this passage for it may help you understand what a "True Friendship" is:

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9–12

I hope this passage has given you knowledge on how to identify what a "truly reliable" friend is. God Bless!

Mannequin Diary

MANNEQUIN DIARY. For the past few weeks, I have been heavily active building a design for our Annual Exhibition. This year  the set theme is all about "color" and using it with a monochromatic scheme. Each of who we have our design in the exhibition have to most importantly "sell the product" which corresponds with color we received. Fortunately, I received the infamous "NEON FLUORESCENT PINK" striking isn't it? It sure is. I must say I am quite pleased with my selection. Since throughout this process of my designing so far. I have received a lot of great feedback from bystanders and classmates who seen me putting countless hours into my concept. This leadings to my concept of designing the Tomber Raider, Jurassic Park inspired rondevu where the mannequin will be morphing into a muted dinosaur, leopard creature. Who is also, a master of disguise. If you ask me it is quite genius, just wait see. To add, I am collaborating with a good friend and classmate, Shan Khan. She has also contributed numerous ideas on our practice of design. Tomorrow, we will be working extremely hard in collectively in putting the design together.  However, I thought it would be a great idea on your part to know what it is I am up to, and what I love to do as a Visual Designer. With that said, have a nice day, everyone! God Bless!

ps. To give you a prior notice, I will be posting more of photographs of my design process. Hopefully when it is all complete I will have some extremely breath taking photographs for you guys. Stay tuned for the date and location of the exhibition!

Matthew: "Do Not Worry"

MATTHEW: "DO NOT WORRY". "The acceptance of the Holy Spirit brings fullness to the heart."- Steven brown.

Last Weekend, I returned home to escape from the "city-life", and think about what it is to come; in addition, to giving schooling a break. During my time, I had moment where I began to worry about the unnecessary such as what I will eat, what I will drink, and even what I will put on the next day. As always I wondered why.

The following day while I was in church. I turned to my father and asked him "Why do we as people become concerned with things that should be easily pursued. He turned to me while flipping through his bible and asked me to read a few passages. The first read:  "Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" Matthew 6:27. In return I said "I do not understand." He told me to continue reading and I did as I was told. So, I read to passage from the beginning this time: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" Matthew 6:25-27. When I conclude this part of highlighted lines, I knew that my life was more precious than the things God are already knows you need.  As I continued reading, a lot of my answers were being  explained. I knew that all my worries should not, and that I should seek God first and His righteousness; for I will have all the things that I need.

In relation to my attire, you can see I was dressed very secure yet feeling free of worries by the was my body movement is illustrated in the photographs. There's been time when people I would see people go a rampage trying to put things together. Instead, of relying of their faith and judgement with themselves and God. Regardless of the fact, the clothing that placed upon the human anatomy is mere disguise from identity your inner being. In other words, they're placed upon you to expressed the individual that you are. The same goes with foods or drinks, God already knows you need that and He will find a way to supply you with your needs. We as people must wake up and learn to feeling joy and happiness; for everything is already taken care of. Promptly, the message being emulated is "...do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." I consider that you remember this for when any of you begin to suddenly worry about the givens. With that said, have a wonderful weekend and God Bless!

Dorm Life Diary

DORM LIFE DIARY.  "Oh! what a pleasure it is when you can just let it all hangout..." Last weekend,  a few friends and I decided to get together for some fun. With school consuming our daily schedules a night of fun was much needed. We filled the room with good music, humorous conversations, and dance moves that were not to be revealed to the public. As we continued the night, food begin to get low and life begin to get out of hand. In other words, our fun came to end with not much accomplished. I know most of you are looking for a intellectual message to be accompanied with my writing, but there is none. However, I would like to say there is a time for everything, and a purpose for every reason. It is important to take time out of your busy schedule, and share it with people that are close such as friends, family, or a companion. This is the time when all our worries are put aside. With that said, I hope you will take this day and share it will a love one. God bless!OUTFIT// scarf: gifted (new-in will be seeing this in future post) shirt: H&M vest: WHOAUps. I will be posting a new outfit in the near future, as well as, other important information.Message of the Week:  "1 I said to myself, "I will try having fun. I will enjoy myself." But I found that this is also useless.2 It is foolish to laugh all the time, and having fun doesn't accomplish anything.3 I decided to cheer myself up with wine while my mind was still thinking wisely. I wanted to find a way to enjoy myself and see what was good for people to do during their few days of life." Ecclesiastes 1:2:3 I would like for you as my reader to give insight on what you believe this passage is teaching? Please, leave your responses in a comment.

Prayers

PRAYERS. I have been searching and searching for the perfect attire to explain a concept I learned from my father and other friends. However, with other things in effect, I have had to keep a prayers list together for future purchases. I have faith God will come through for me. To make a long story short, I will be purchasing  items like or similar to the ones above. Top to Bottom: Maximus Spike Studded Long Sleeve, Red Bottom Studded Loafers, Black Cross Necklace, Two Finger Cross Ring, Cotton Fleece Pants, and Round Black Glasses.

Two Are Better Than One

TWO ARE BETTER THAN ONE. Last night, I stayed up all night talking to my sister and reading my manual (bible). More specifically, I read Ecclesiastes 4. Although, it preached about how certain were meaningless, like chasing the wind "Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbor. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit." Ecclesiastes 4:4. As striking as this passage was, it left me wondering what "meaningless" and "vexation of spirit" means as far as context goes.

However, I continued reading and paused at a passage saying "Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour." Ecclesiastes 4:9. This resulted in me thinking that with any situation if there are two people working together, the more tasks that can be completed. In reference, my partner and I for our school project had to work together, in order, to create a design that more than successful. To add, it made me think of a marriage where you must have two people who work together, and is will to assist the other if they fall. In Ecclesiastes 4:10 it comments "For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up." Confirming how if one person is to fall, the second is their to catch them.

In relation to my attire above, it shows how every piece of clothing leans on one another to create a overhauling balance. For the vintage train sweater, relies on the blue jean to bring it closer to the eyes, in addition, to the boots working with the jean. In this case their Three "...are better than one".  Evidently, you can see how each piece is dependent on the other to create a stronger ensemble. Now, with the sunglasses being all alone shows how it can either be defeated or not as affective as the other pieces. "And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Ecclessiastes 4:12. This show how if a man overpowers one, two shall withstand or withhold him; and three strands with not be broken. All in all, no single factor can stand alone without being defeated; two is always better than one.

Message of the Week:
"There is no end of all the people, even of all that have been before them:
they also that come after shall not rejoice in him. Surely this also is
vanity and vexation of spirit." Ecclesiastes 4:16

New Ins

NEWINS. Good Evening, everyone! I have had a long week filled with work. I do not know where the time has went, but I am glad it is Friday. However, I did achieve a lot this week, especially projects that I've been working on for some time now. Hopefully, I can capture some enchanting photographs for all of you to see. To add, I thought it would very nice that I show you some new items that I have purchased, but have not formulate an outfit for. These t-shirts were purchased from PacSun's. In assumption, I know you guys are wondering why would he buy such dark, devious attire. Well, as I and the Bible says "there is a reason for everything, and time to every purpose..."Ecclesiastes 3:1 so you will have to wait until I propose the story to go along with the purpose. As I wish you all a wonderful weekend, I say to you "every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him." Proverbs 30:5. God Bless!
